Honolulu Clouds

While on an amazing business trip to Honolulu/Oahu, I managed to sneak out and pop some timelapses of the gorgeous Hawaiian surroundings. Most shots at 5 second exposures, some at 8 seconds. Shot with Canon 6D and a 24mm/1.4 lens. These were all shot near the Kahala Hotel, away from downtown.

Watch in HD with headphones on and volume cranked, if you can, to attain maximum relaxation and serenity!

Shot and Edited by: Gavin Heffernan
Music: “Naughty Hula Eyes” by Andy Iona and the Islanders (public domain)
Special thanks to our very kind host and fellow guests.

A Canadian-born indie filmmaker working in Los Angeles (primarily in the horror genre), Heffernan is also an avid timelapse photographer with a collection of acclaimed projects, including his Joshua Tree Journey series and a number of other popular works of astrophotography and experimentals. His timelapses and other videography can also be found on the festival circuit in his popular Devolution series, a still-incomplete trilogy of shorts examining the cost of mankind's progress. 1. Wow such a great article or I should say a very unique post about clouds. While watching clouds I also imagine the different kind of animals and shapes that I can see in clouds.
