Lost (and Found) in the Alps

I’m a shy, awkward guy. I was dropped in the middle of the wintry Italian alps of Friuli Venezia Giulia, left to wander and experience whatever lay ahead. I met stranger after stranger who greeted me with a glass of wine and open arms; smiles as big as the mountains we conquered. They took me on a journey I will never forget. The interest they had in making sure I got out of my shell and had the experience of my life is so unheard of. In such a short period of time these strangers became family, untangling my shy soul and packed in the audacious and inspiring life I have always been journeying toward. What a happy and beautiful people.

I'm a filmmaker. I have a strong passion for visual storytelling and showing things in a provocative, emotional way. My projects include music videos, documentaries, museum installations, tourism videos, short films and live concert projections. In addition to filmmaking, I love to hike as many times a year as possible. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is very exciting for me as well. I like to garden, play with dogs, talk politics and philosophy, learn about geology and astronomy and go to the movies. Follow me on Facebook, Vimeo, Twitter and YouTube.

  1. Wow, this is very special – it really is like dreaming. Just takes you along, never loses the flow, and every shot seems to be just right -glimpses, secrets, promises, truth, beauty, happiness… Never bragging, always flying. The only bad thing was that it suddenly stopped. I think I may have to watch it again… 🙂

    • Hi, Vera,

Your comment is almost as beautiful as “Lost in the Alps”! And I, too, had to watch it several times to see all the glimpses, secrets, promises, truth, beauty and happiness it holds.
